Can you fill a stocking with an e-book?

Answers on a postcard please.

A short little post today. Ross Golden-Bannon has just released an e-book, How to Write About Food – the top 50 writing bloopers to cross an editor’s desk . The book points out the (many) pitfalls that aspiring writers can fall into. See why I’m keeping this short? Writing this post and traversing a minefield are not dissimilar.

As the author says: “I wrote this in desperation. It’s not that I want to encourage more people to write, I just want them to stop writing badly.”

I bought it the other day and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The book is an informative and very humourous examination of what makes good copy. How to Write About Food is available to purchase here. A perfect e-stocking filler for the blogger, aspiring food writer or demented editor in your life.
